Challenge # 68 - Vintage Look

We have a fabulous challenge for you this week and want you to create a card or other paper-crafted project with a VINTAGE LOOK. Pull out your most vintage images, dig out some vintage looking papers and embellishments and make sure you do lots of inking and distressing.

You don't have to use a Phindy image but if you do you can enter it twice - just follow the directions on the sidebar under the challenge rules. Phindy has lots of images in her store that lend themselves beautifully to a vintage look - lots of scenes and other images, some of which the Design Team has used in their inspiration for you.

Phindy's Place Design Team Call!

We are looking for creative designers to work with Phindy’s Place digital images, for a six month term, from 1 September 2011 to 28 February 2012. You will be expected to create a card or project each week to be published on the Challenge Blog (currently Friday) as well as to your own blog and occasionally there may be further requirements such as a blog hop. You are also expected to comment on a proportion of the entries to the Challenge Blog. Membership of the Papercraft Planet Group is encouraged and you need to upload your weekly cards to the PCP gallery so that they can be uploaded to the slide shows for the group.

The ideal team member need not have experience of being on a Design Team, however their commitment and enthusiasm are important. It is important to have a regularly updated blog, to comment regularly on entries to the challenge and it is important to meet deadlines.

What is in it for you?

It's here at last! Today is the Phabulous Phindy Phriday when anything goes as long as you use a Phindy's Place image! There are some great images in the shop, if you are looking for a freebie you will always find a few on the Phindy's Place PCP Group. The first Friday in the month will be Anything Goes for at least the next three months, so you know you can plan ahead and create a fab card or project to play along.

We are sorry to be late with the winners' post for the Black & White challenge but we had a tie for Card of the Week and waited to hear back from Phindy to break it but she has better things on her mind - snuggling that adorable new Granddaughter - and didn't get back to us yet, which is perfectly understandable. Rather than waiting any longer a husband was pressed into service, the two names were put into a hat and he drew one so read on to see whose name he chose.
